Guarnari pattern, distressed
This is a fine instrument for very little investment. The response is perfect, so hard to make bow noise that even I sound competent! A really beautiful tone as well, with a sweet top end which is where so many of the Chinese violins fail to be impressive. This one has a relatively dark sound, and while plenty loud when pressed, is exceptionally easy to play quietly. Do not be put off by the low price which I could have doubled!$1400
