My first attempt
with Cambodian Rosewood leaves me not the least bit shy to use it again!
It is amazing to me how much this 000 sized guitar sound like a dread,
only with a much better balance to my ear. It is fully powered in the
bottom, yet has a terrific middle and top end as well.
This instrument features an Adirondack top, my first use of Schertler
tuning machines (very smooth, nicely engineered, and remarkably similar
to Alessi's work IMO), my now standard snakewood binding/purfling
package, Oil Varnish finish, Ebony fingerboard and bridge, Tortis PG,
MadRose head plates, and an MOP egret landing on the 7th fret. It is in
fact my basic guitar as described in my price list, and includes a Jeff
Hoffee Carbon Fiber Case.
