2024 JB-15.5-WRX
"Sam's"
#3421124
I am a Myrtle believer, and this latest example supports my belief entirely. Of  the domestic tonewoods I have uses, Myrtle stands above the rest for completeness of the tonal spectrum, and is musical beyond even Honduran mahogany, making even  the most poorly chosen harmonic content sound beautiful.

  • American red Spruce top
  • Oregon Myrtle back and sides
  • Honduran mahogany neck
  • Amazon Rosewood Binding
  • Ebony fingerboard and Ziricolte bridge
  • Schertler "Gold"  tuning machines
  • 1 3/4"+ nut and 2 5/16" bridge pin spacing
  • 25.1" x 25.6" string length
  • Hot Hide Glue and Oil Varnish

More/better photos next time I see Sam, the customer.
