Here is a 1976 guitar still on the path!
#32Sitka/Palo Escrito.
This is one of the last guitars I made in my Canadian years. The current and original owner, Walker Fanning, recently sent me these pictures and a pleasent note describing the guitar as his most prized possession. Looks like a 00 to me, though certainly my own design. Also a 3 piece top! There is a nice chunk of Malachite inlaid into the truss rod cover. Head-plate and bridge are Brazilian Rosewood. At this time I was stack laminating my necks, so it is a two piece headstock and probably 4 pieces to make the heel.
