This is Al Moss's Sexauer FT-16. Al plays with a very nice band called
"Hill Billy Idol" out of Kent, Ohio.
It measures 16" x 20" x 4 7/8" with 25.25" string length. This instrument
has padauk back and sides, sitka spruce top, ebony trim, and my "bird"
inlay motif. It is intended to have the power to support a singer or a
fiddle player and generally do the job that a![](lutepics/ft16pdft.jpg)
dreadnought
might do, plus have better relative treble response. Sure is beautiful,
but what does it Cost?
